Groups are a powerful way to bring healing and understanding to a specific community of people (e.g., graduate students in the same program). Thrive tailors a group to help those that are experiencing a shared difficulty (e.g., work-life balance or anxiety) or to provide support after a traumatic event. Groups provide universality, the experience of understanding that we are not alone in our feelings, which can bring a sense of peace and empowerment. When we talk and heal within a community, we learn from one another. From this, we gain a sense of peace and understanding, allowing us to move forward with the support of others. ​
